LibriVox recording of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll. Read by Kara Shallenberg.
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland tells the story of a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar and anthropomorphic creatures. The tale plays with logic in ways that have given the story lasting popularity with adults as well as children. It is considered to be one of the most characteristic examples of the "literary nonsense" genre, and its narrative course and structure have been enormously influential, especially in the fantasy genre. (Summary from wikipedia)

HH Queen Victoria I have read in 2010-'11 became fond of Lewis Carroll's logic and humor. This gains significance considering Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (pen name Lewis Carroll) was making subtle criticism of the mathematical hypothesis of his times. And hence offers an insight on the gumption of leaders at the top of the totem pole appreciate and adhere to truth which is personified in her grand father HH King George III who decided to grant freedom to the people of who we now call the United States.

KayRay is an excellent reader - with voice and inflection tailor made for children's literature. This is a wonderful reading of a classic tale.
